10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Ephesians 6:10-13 NKJV

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

1. Let us pray with lamentation and humiliation before God.  Joel 2:12-13

2. Let us ask God to renew a right spirit within us.  Psalm 51:10

3. Let us pray to learn to do good according to the righteousness of God.  Isaiah 1:16-17

4. Let us pray to walk in the Spirit and not satisfy the desires of the flesh.  Galatians 5:16

5. Let us humble ourselves under the mighty Hand of the Lord.  1 Peter 5:6

6. To focus our lives on the Kingdom of God and His Justice, and to divest ourselves of the earthly things that attract us and take us away from the Lord.  Colossians 3:2
